The Well is Toronto’s newest hot spot spanning 320,000 sq ft of retail and food experiences! Many shops and restaurants have already opened in this downtown shopping centre and even more are on their way including a new Asian-fusion restaurant, Lulu Bar. The Calgary-based restaurant has announced its grand opening and here’s what to expect.

It’s official, Lulu Bar is opening its doors to the public on January 19th and will welcome guests to indulge in its Pacific-inspired menu.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing one of our fan-favourite brands to Toronto and join the city’s world-class culinary community,” said Amanda Jansen, Director of Operations, Concorde Entertainment Group.

“Whether you’re looking for a new happy hour spot, a romantic date night, or just a quick and casual lunch, we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors for some Pacific-inspired fare!”

Taking inspiration from the influences of Asia, Hawaii, California and British Columbia, Lulu Bar offers an escape from the winter cold into a light and airy space – reminiscent of a coastal vacation. Think natural elements and wood accents.

Lulu Bar’s first location opened in Calgary back in 2019, and has been serving up mouth-watering dishes ever since. Just like its Calgary menu, Toronto can expect delicious eats like Mochiko Fried Chicken, Poke, Steamed Lobster Dumplings and more.

To give you an idea, Lulu’s food offerings are described as light and fresh but heavy on flavour. They pair perfectly with its drink offerings from sake to wine, cocktails and beers.

Expect some stellar cocktail choices as well with beverages such as the Leopard’s Tongue with espolon blanco tequila, bianco vermouth, melon matcha, tonka bean, coriander seed and lime.

The restaurant is also still hiring for their Toronto location ahead of their January 19th opening – with roles such as Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, and Line Cook still listed on their website.

Lulu Bar Toronto will open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late night. Swing by fir Honolulu Happy Hour, offering half off all beverages from 3 PM to 6 PM every day.

This sounds like the perfect spot for a delicious meal with friends, date night, or a cocktail or two. So if you still haven’t checked out The Well, Lulu Bar is your reason!
