Here’s an interesting way to make a couple of bucks. Lovehoney, AKA the world’s largest sexual wellness company, is looking to recruit a handful of professional sex toy testers across Canada. If you want to get in better touch with yourself (literally), this is a great way to do it – and make a grand while you’re at it!
For ‘Masturbation May,’ sexual wellness brand Lovehoney is heading on a 16-city recruitment tour across the US and Canada in search of new members of their ‘Orgasm Advisory Board,’ an exclusive consumer testing and advisory panel.
“Despite the progress we’ve made, self-pleasure is still stigmatized and taboo in so many places,” explains Sarah Tomchesson, Lovehoney’s Resident Sexual Wellness Advisor in an email with Curiocity. “Because of this, we wanted to take our recruitment initiative to the streets, meet people where they are and educate them about the benefits of masturbation.”

Following the recruitment tour, 10 panellists will be chosen and receive the following:
- $1,000 for one year of service
- A monthly pleasure package of sex toys (worth up to $250)
- An affiliate code for 20%
And of course, those selected will have the opportunity to become more involved in the creative and product design process, providing feedback during focus groups.

Applications are now open online until May 31st at 11:59 pm PST. Note that all adults aged 18 or over in the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to apply, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, and experience level. So whether you’re new to masturbation or have a designated sex room, all are welcome here.
The Canadian recruitment tour begins in Toronto on May 13th and 14th at Rogers Centre, followed by two stops in Montreal on May 19th and 20th.

- Saturday, May 13th, Rogers Centre, 12 to 5 pm
- Sunday, May 14th, Rogers Centre, 11 to 4 pm
Cities were selected based on data from the Lovehoney 2023 Sex Map, which was created to map out consumer habits and trends throughout the country. According to the map, Ontario is the “Sexiest Province” and Quebec is the “Kinkiest,” so the pair were an obvious choice for the recruitment tour.
