Big Money: winning Lotto Max ticket worth $70M sold in Calgary

Are you feeling lucky? If you live in Alberta and frequently play the Lotto Max you should because another huge prize was won by someone in the Prairie province.

As announced by the OLG this morning, a Calgary ticket holder has won a whopping $70 million, bringing the longest run for a jackpot to an extravagant end.

This big-time pot began growing back and August and was unable to produce a winner for 20 consecutive draws, but that all changed this weekend.

In addition, a second ticket worth over $274k was also sold within the city.

According to the WCLC, the winning numbers were 1, 9, 25, 35, 41, 43, and 50 (bonus number: 40), so maybe consider giving your ticket a good ol’ look-see. You never know what might come of it.

To check your ticket, you can head over to the Lotto Max website, download their app, or call their Calgary line at 403-275-8101.
