Seattle is getting a blast from the past this spring. Red Bull’s iconic Lords of the Floor breakdancing competition is back and just as big as the original 2001 event. Here’s what we know so far.
On Saturday, April 6th, Seattleites will be able to watch as 16 teams engage in fierce 2v2 battles. The energetic event is being hosted by the uproarious Jo Koy and will feature legendary crews like Massive Monkees, Skill Methodz, and Style Elements.

Breakers will be judged by elite b-boys and b-girls, with competitors showcasing their foundation, originality, and musicality, vying for the coveted title and international recognition.
The 2001 event laid the groundwork for competitive breaking’s global rise, and after twenty-three years, Red Bull Lords of the Floor returns to redefine the dance form. You can expect dynamic international pairings, epic battles between seasoned veterans and the next generation of breakers.
