Beach days just got even better! The Long Sault Parkway is one of Eastern Ontario’s most beautiful destinations, a long road that passes through 11 islands leading to campgrounds, parks and a stunning long golden beach. The beach is a must-visit and we have all the details.

Mille Roches Beach is the largest public beach on the St. Lawrence River corridor boasting golden sand that’s perfect for lounging by.
If you’d prefer to be up and moving, Parks of St. Lawrence recommends checking out the winding bike paths, pristine nature trails, boat launches, picnic areas, scuba diving and remarkable fishing around the beach.
Now that it’s peak season, the beach is open daily from 9:00 AM – sunset.
You’ll need a day-use vehicle pass to access the beach starting at $9.73 for a weekday pass for all people in the vehicle (Monday – Friday) and $18.58 for a weekend vehicle pass.
Walk-in visitors and bikers can get a pass for $4.44 on both weekdays and weekends.
According to Parks of the St. Lawrence, “ALL day-use areas are first-come, first-served; we do not accept reservations for beaches or picnic areas. For best availability, we recommend arriving when the beach opens at 9:00 AM.”
So get there early and enjoy the golden sand and views at Mille Roches Beach.
