Who’s ready for a bit of holiday magic in downtown Vancouver? For the first time ever, the seawall in Coal Harbour is set to light up for a month-long celebration, complete with light installations, performing artists and musicians, and an illuminated walk from Canada Place to Cardero Park. Best of all? It’s all free to attend!

From December 1st to 30th, visitors can take part in a variety of holiday-themed activations taking place on Friday and Saturday evenings (5 to 10 pm). This includes a specialty bar with alcoholic and hot beverages, a live music stage with over 150 musicians scheduled to perform, and nightly fire performances at Canada Place Park.

“The Vancouver Convention Centre and Coal Harbour are jewels in the city. We are so proud to showcase its breathtaking beauty at Liven UP,” says Craig Lehto, General Manager of Vancouver Convention Centre.

Visitors can also keep an eye out for Luna the Whale, Davie the Grizzly Bear, and other popular light displays located at key points along the seawall.
