Bust out the cowboy hats, friends! Toronto will get a big dose of southern charm this summer as Little Tennessee takes over Liberty Village.

The neighbourhood will be completely transformed into the southern U.S. state known for its country music scene, flavourful food, and vibrant cities like Nashville and Memphis.

“From Little Italy to Little Tokyo to Little Poland, Toronto is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world,” says a description of the event.

“Now, it’s getting a big taste of Southern Hospitality and culture with a new, pop-up neighborhood: Little Tennessee.”

The four-day event will have free admission and will give visitors “a taste of Tennessee’s biggest flavors.”

It will be packed with live music, authentic southern eats, and plenty of activities to explore all that this state has to offer.

Opening night of the festival will be held at The Drake Hotel, and will transform each floor into replicas of famous Tennessee music venues.

Tennessee artists will be performing live on various stages throughout the festival grounds.

There will be food trucks on site serving up the state’s most famous foods, “from the tingly heat of our world-famous Nashville hot chicken to the soul-warming smoke from Memphis BBQ.”

You’ll also get to try a whole bunch of Tennessee-themed activities, including a rock climbing wall, artisan crafts shopping, and whiskey sampling.

The best part is that admission is free!

So, get ready to kick off the summer with a boot-stompin’ bash like no other!
