A trip to Italy in a pandemic? Well, you probably won’t be checking in with airport security anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean you can’t shop or eat like your kiddie corner to the colosseum! For 28 years, Lina’s Market has kind of been the place for an authentic Italian experience and now they’re doubling down! Calgary’s saucy fave has announced that they’ll be opening a second location!

After reinventing themselves as a delivery-friendly grocery store during the COVID pandemic, they actually realized that a ton of their frequent shoppers lived in the far south. Wowza.

Now, as a sort of “thank you” to the people who were coming from as far as Okotoks, the new location is a heck of a lot closer to those people than it was before!

Sweet mother of bombolini, it’s nice to see a local spot thrive despite, ya’ know… the whole COVID thing.

Congrats Lina’s, we have a sneaky suspicion that this place will be bumpin’ come next month!
