A massive all-white dinner party is coming to a secret location in Toronto

The ultimate secret dinner party is coming to Toronto. Le Dîner en Blanc has announced its return to this city this summer and the all-white dress code will be in full effect.

This annual event is hosted at a secret location and released to its guests at the last minute. Thousands of guests are invited to the lavish “chic picnic” in their most elegant white attire.

“Le Dîner en Blanc recalls the elegance and glamor of high French society, and guests engage one another, knowing that they are taking part in a truly magical event,” the description says.

The annual dinner party was first established in Paris in the late 1980s and is attended by tens of thousands of guests to this day at some of the city’s most famous sites including the Eiffel Tower.

This year’s event will be held on August 10th and as always, the location is being kept under wraps.

Last year, Dîner en Blanc featured its first-ever chef collaboration with one of Toronto’s most esteemed restaurateurs, Chef Patrick Kriss of the Michelin-starred restaurant Alo.

The event was held on the Ontario Place grounds with the Cinesphere as its backdrop.

Getting on the guest list isn’t as simple as buying a ticket online — in fact, there are three phases of invitations. After all, exclusivity is all part of the allure of Dîner en Blanc.

Phase one is open to members and leaders’ friends, phase two is for sponsored guest, and phase three is the waitlist which is now open.
