From coast to coast, there is no shortage of incredible attractions where adventure-seekers can have fun this winter, but A Maze in Corn in St Adolphe, Manitoba, just outside Winnipeg, is one of the largest.
Located less than 40 minutes from the provincial capital, this incredible destination offers a ton of year-round experiences, but once temperatures drop, the World’s Largest Snow Maze takes the spotlight.
A local favourite and a chilly-season marvel, this giant maze has held the title of biggest on Earth since 2019.
When first recognized by The Guinness Book of World Records, it measured an incredible 2,789.11 metres squared or (30,021 feet squared), and it just keeps getting more impressive.
With dead ends, twists, and turns, even expert navigators will have fun trying to find their way out — but once they do, they’ll want to stick around.
In addition to the maze, this family-friendly attraction also offers sleigh rides every weekend (weather-dependent), bonfires, a warming barn, and an ice bar – but that’s not all!
In previous years, they’ve also had a restaurant made entirely of ice and snow called The Den.
“Carved out of over 500,000 pounds of snow, the Den is a dining experience like no other,” they write.
“Surrounded by ice sculptures and walls filled with carved Manitoba art, this winter dining experience will be one to remember.”
Headed to Winnipeg and want to hit the maze?
A Maze in Corn will reopen for the winter season this January, though they have yet to confirm if they will re-open The Den.
Either way, there’s really no place quite like it, Canada.
Have fun and good luck!
You’ll need it if you want to find your way out.
