This Ontario town in a popular region is circled by four charming hamlets

As a matter of fact, Lake of Bays is circled by four of them. These charming hamlets include Baysville, Dwight, Dorset, and Hillside, according to Township of Lake of Bays.

Baysville can be found in the southern part of the Township, and is home to the Baysville Dam, as well as annual festivals and special events.

Dorset is located on Lake of Bays in Trading Bay, and features the historic SS Bigwin steamship and the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower.

You’ll find Dwight north of Lake of Bays home to bakeries, marinas, and shops worth exploring.

As for Hillside, according to the Township, that’s where you’ll find many artists’ studios, and the chance to venture into the Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve.
