There’s sun in the forecast and fun to be had – it’s just a matter of knowing where to go now that we’re nearing the end of the summer season. Our suggestion? Lake Newell in Alberta!

Even as temperatures dip there are plenty of incredible places to hike, bike, wander, and even take a dip!

Located 14 km south of Brooks, you’ll find The warmest man-made watering holes in Alberta.

What’s more, there’s also a nearby campsite and resort where you can really dig your heels, a chair, or an umbrella into the sand.

Want to book a weekend getaway? Stay the night, get a tan, and then consider checking out one of the other amazing attractions in the area!

From the Brooks Aqueduct to the world-famous Dinosaur Provincial Park, there is no shortage of things to see or do – so plan ahead.

You’re in for an action-packed vacation.
