Calgary is getting a Krispy Kreme & here’s what to know

Love sweet treats, coffee, and seasonal sips? It won’t be long until there’s Krispy Kreme on the Calgary, Alberta food scene!

Known best for its fluffy glazed donut, America’s iconic chain will soon open its only location in the city, giving dessert lovers and morning commuters one more place to curb their cravings.

The project has officially broken ground at 9629 Macleod Trail SW.

“It is too soon in the construction process to provide an opening date, but we are currently on track for Spring/Summer 2025,” Levi Hetrick, their Chief Growth Officer & Operating Partner told Curiocity.

At the time of publication, there are 16 Canadian Krispy Kreme stores, with the closest one to Calgary being that of Delta, BC.
