Vancouver is getting a ‘Santa speakeasy’ with a life-size advent calendar revealing daily surprises

Guess what, Christmas enthusiasts? Vancouver is about to get a new holiday pop-up bar experience, and if you’re a fan of speakeasies, you won’t want to miss this.

This December, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is launching “Kringle’s” – a Santa-inspired speakeasy filled with holiday cheer, twinkling decor in every corner, and of course, delightfully festive treats and sips.

In addition to an intimate lounge space and a semi-private space for groups of up to 8, the pop-up bar will feature a life-sized advent calendar, revealing surprise daily features. This includes a slew of magical Champagne pours and a “host of other merriments,” according to the hotel. So get ready to open up a new festive surprise every day!

As for holiday-themed cocktails, guests can expect to sip on everything from the “Starry Night Negroni” to the bar’s House-Made Eggnog, to “Margarita on the Snow.”

Kringle’s will run Tuesdays to Sundays every day in December, including the 31st, when the bar will transform into a lively New Year’s Eve celebration with special menu features.

If you’re keen on booking a spot before availability becomes limited, you can now make a reservation online.

So there you have it, Vancouver! Stay tuned for more details as they come, and get ready to indulge in some holiday spirits!
