This historic Ontario town with picture-perfect bridges has a ‘kissing stone’

Enjoy a slice of Scotland in this Ontario town, home to historic structures, bridges and even a kissing stone. Here’s what to know about the Town of Fergus

Located just along the banks of the Grand River is Fergus, Ontario. It dates back to the 1800s as the town was officially established in 1833.

According to its website, Fergus has strong Scottish roots and its rich heritage has been preserved to this day.

Explore its historic downtown which is filled with natural limestone buildings, parks and public gardens.
