Toronto’s King Street West is getting a new destination for bites, cocktails and great vibes. King Taps is opening a second location in the city and here’s what to know.

Though the chain already claims a spot at 100 King St W, it’s expanding further west with its newest location at 620 King St W, near Portland St.

The future location spans over 9,000 sq feet and has space for almost 300 diners. There will be two bars, a lounge space, dining room and patio.

And staying true to the King Taps vibe when it comes to art, there will be a full-wall mural by artist Trouble Andrew, avant-garde photography by Markus Klinko, and works by Danielle Mazzonne, whose work is currently featured in Times Square.

And of course, once they open, expect local DJs to keep you in the mood as you enjoy their reimagined mains, handheld dishes and delicious cocktail program.
