Listen up, people! One of summer’s most happening and electric days is here. We are talking about the Khatsahlano Street Party, of course. After being cancelled for two straight years, the massive music and arts fest is back on for its 10th anniversary at West 4th Ave on July 9th.
Sure, the musical line-up and food trucks are the main events, but there’s tons more to enjoy. From winning prices to enjoying the best summer brews to witnessing pop-up weddings (yes, you read that right!), here are 10 things you absolutely need to check out this year.
Boot Toss to win Blundstones at Australian Boot Company
Starting at 11 am and running all day, Australian Boot Company is hosting a fun game of tossing boots into a faraway bin. If you succeed you are entered into a draw. The more boots you get into the bin, the more entries you get into the draw. And if you win, you can snag a cool new pair of Blundstones.
Prize wheel at Clearly
Clearly sure has got into the party spirit. There’s going to be a spin wheel full of prizes and anyone can give it a try. There will also be an airbrush tattoo artist at the store in case you were hoping to add some spunk to your look. Plus, the first 200 visitors will receive a swag bag. Who dosn’t love free stuff?

This one’s got us excited because it is only at the Khatsahlano street party that you’ll find pop-up weddings. You might want to keep an eye out as eight couples will tie the knot amidst gorgeous florals and designs by Leis De Buds. Talk about a rave wedding!

The soul-nourishing music
It is a music and art fest. But of course, their musical line-up is going to be the highlight of the fest. And so it is. Taking over the TD Main Stage presented by Curiocity will be Jillian Lake, Dan Moxon, Empanadas Ilegales, Pointed Sticks, Teon Gibbs, Ashleigh Ball, PackAD and Haley Blais among others. It is going to be crazy awesome!
