Kettlemans Bagel is now open in Toronto with famous all-green Irish Cream bagels

Is there anything more satisfying than a fresh bagel? Fluffy dough with a generous slab of cream cheese and layered with smoked salmon… we’re drooling just thinking about it. Finally, at long last, Torontonians can sink their teeth into some of the finest Montreal-style bagels out there at the new Kettlemans Bagel location downtown.

Kettlemans Bagel’s new Toronto storefront is now open at 33 Bathurst St, on the corner of Bathurst St and Niagara St. Like all of its other locations, Kettlemans Bagel will be open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

Just in time for their opening, Kettlemans Bagel is serving up their famous green bagels with Irish Cream cream cheese to get you into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit.

The new storefront is one of three Kettlemans Bagel locations planned in the city this year. The other two locations, one in Whitby and one at Yonge St and Eglinton Ave, are also set to open this year.

The Ottawa-based bagel shop has gained widespread popularity since it was first established in 1993 and has used the same traditional recipe since day one.

The shop serves up “award-winning, world-famous bagels,” as well as deli sandwiches, spreads, salads, and “baked treats that you won’t find anywhere else,” according to the website.

Kettlemans Bagel prides itself on “making the best bagel in Canada,” and even runs a subscription service for the hardcore bagel addicts.

There is only one existing location in the GTA and it’s in Etobicoke at 847 Brown’s Line.

With the downtown storefront now open, we can practically taste our poppy seed bagel with chive cream cheese already!
