According to Kelso Lavender Farm, “Our decision to farm 25,000 lavender plants was swift and fulfilled a life-long passion to appreciate the beauty of the world, build relationships, and promote wellbeing.”

The farm boasts rows of purple blooms, a perfect place to snap a few photos with family or friends.

Feel free to take photos on your phone but if you’re hoping to take professional pictures you’ll need to grab a permit.

“Professional photography is broadly defined as any form of photography that goes beyond personal use and involves the use of specialized equipment and tools,” says Kelso Lavender Farm.

“This includes, but is not limited to, the use of reflectors, disruptive props such as balloons, tents, or furniture, tripods, lighting setups, or any other equipment commonly associated with professional photography.”

While you’re strolling be sure to cool off with a sweet treat.

The farm sells lavender ice cream and lavender ice pops!

Guests can also purchase their own lavender, lavender skin care products, lavender maple syrup and lavender room spray just to name a few.

The farm is open for the season as of June 15th with reservations open now.

Entry for adults is $15 on weekdays and $18 on weekends. Admission is $12 for children from ages 4-12 with children 3 and under granted free admission.

You’re guaranteed to leave smelling amazing!
