If you’re looking for a fun late winter market and festival to check out in Vancouver, look no further. Kawaii Japan Market is bringing three days of fun and shopping to Vancouver, and here’s when you can check it out & what to expect!

The Kawaii Japan Market kicks off on March 1st, and will take place until March 3rd. Throughout the weekend, you can expect everything from “adorable accessories to sweet confectionaries” along with everything you love about Kawaii Japanese culture.

According to organizers, the event will feature over 60 vendors offering kawaii art, Japanese food, and “unique Japanese style merchandise.”

Additionally, you can check out free entertainment.

“We are planning to have a cosplay contest, arcade games, idol dancers,” state the organizers. “Samurai will be on site again for free photo opportunities! Don’t miss out!”

The cosplay contest takes place on Saturday, March 2nd, and you can showcase your unique cosplay creations and compete for prizes. “We welcome participants of all skill levels – so whether you’re a cosplay veteran or a first-timer, join us for a day filled with fun, creativity, and community spirit,” states the event.

The first 50 people to enter on each of the mornings will receive $10 in Japan Market vouchers to spend on some goodies.

Early bird tickets are available online and start at $3 each for one person, and $5 for two. There are three day passes also available for $10.

Note that children 15 and under can enter the festival for free!
