An unexpected celebrity guest is making an appearance in The Werk Room! The one and only Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will appear on the new Crave original series Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World.
The PM’s special visit will mark the first time a world leader has made an appearance on a Drag Race franchise, according to Crave.
In this new series, Canada will host the ultimate battle of the queens, and this time, “it’s every queen for herself.”
“Queens’ talents are tested in maxi and mini challenges and lip-sync battles, where one queen wins the chance to eliminate a fellow competitor until a winner is crowned,” says the description.

“Throughout this journey, the queens share their personal struggles and successes and showcase the importance of celebrating everyone’s Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent.”
While it doesn’t look like Justin Trudeau will be lip-syncing for his life, the Prime Minister will likely be providing the contestants with an extra dose of motivation while they compete for the crown.
The show will be hosted and judged by Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski, and Traci Melchor.
The list of guest judges includes Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Beker, season 10 winner Monet X-Change, Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka, TV personality Joe Zee, and several others.
We love to see the Prime Minister participating in this exciting new chapter for Canadian TV and drag queen talent.
