Love taking advantage of every summer street festival you can? Vancouver is about to get three more exciting block parties, courtesy of Mount Pleasant Business BIA’s Just Off Main block party series. Best of all? Each event is completely free to attend!
Each block party will take place at a different location, with its own exciting live performances, groovy tunes, and local brews and eats.
The series kicks off on Sunday, July 23rd from 11 am to 5 pm at the 100 block of East 11th Avenue (164 East 11th Avenue), featuring two-piece bands and solo performers, local artisan vendors, and more.
From a live radio show vibe to catchy indie-folk music, here are all the performances you can catch on July 23rd:
- CRASH WORLD – 11 am to 12:30 pm
- Django’s Jewels – 1 pm to 2 pm
- Likewise – 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
- Jeff Bryant – 4 pm to 5 pm
As for vendors, visitors can peruse a mix of floral arrangements to dog treats from Dog Meister, to cold beverages from their 19+ beer garden.

Finally, we come to the third instalment of the block party series on Saturday, September 9th, which will be an all-aged, kid-focused event, taking place on Main and East 17th (197 East 17th Avenue).
