Join Calgary’s fave bars & breweries for a day of beer, BBQ & more this weekend

What’s better than a day of sun, fun, beer and BBQ? The answer is simple! All of the above – but in support of a good cause! This weekend, join organizers Devine Flooring and their catalogue of sponsors for Barley and Smoke – an event that will fill your mouths and your hearts.

Snag a ticket and head over to Enmax Park tomorrow August 28th between 4 pm and 9 pm for a tasty afternoon that will pit 12 teams made up of Calgary’s best restaurants, bars and breweries against each other in support of the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.

These teams will be tasked with presenting a perfect pairing of bites and beer to you, the attendee, who will vote on their favourite in each category: Best beer, best handheld, best rib and best team.

In addition to getting samples of the good stuff, guests can also kick back to live music and can check out a series of forts being made for Camp Kindle, a place that gives children suffering from a malignant illness a place to have fun and enjoy themselves.

Honestly, it’s going to be a wicked afternoon – one that you can feel really good about, so check it out!

100% of each $75 ticket will go directly to the Kids Cancer Foundation, and everything is included in the pricing when you get there (except for the raffle), so why the heck not!

In 2019 along they managed to raise over $100,000 – but we think we can do even better than that! What do you guys think?

Enjoy, have fun and good luck to all of the teams competing! We can’t wait to see what comes of it.
