Jimmy Fallon says Muskoka is the ‘most beautiful place on Earth’

Jimmy Fallon is a huge fan of Ontario’s Muskoka region, calling it “the most beautiful place on Earth” during a recent interview on The Tonight Show.
Ella Rubin was a guest on the show to promote her new coming-of-age drama series on Prime Video, Sterling Point. The decidedly Canadian series follows 17-year-old Annie (Rubin) as she inherits her grandfather’s mysterious island in Muskoka, Ont.
And it seems that Ontario’s cottage country has really rubbed off on Rubin, who praised the region to U.S. late-night audiences.

“Right now I’m team Muskoka and team Annie — I know that’s like a cop-out but I’m team ‘what’s best for Annie’ and I think Muskoka is best,” said Rubin.
Fallon cuts in, adding. “I think Muskoka’s gorgeous.”
Rubin goes on to probe Fallon on whether he’s seen Ontario’s cottage country for himself, asking, “It’s beautiful, have you been?”
Fallon then jumps in to agree, calling Muskoka the “most beautiful place on Earth.”
“I can’t believe we got to film there. It’s incredible,” said Rubin, who continued to shower Canada with praise.
Rubin and Fallon aren’t the only celebs obsessed with Muskoka’s rugged beauty. Cottage country frequently attracts major celebrities like Mark Wahlberg and David Beckham, among many others.
Season 1 of Sterling Point debuted on Prime Video on Aug. 5. While Amazon Prime Video has yet to officially renew the series for a second season, the show’s popularity out of the gate bodes well for anyone on the cast and crew hoping to return to cottage country next summer.
