It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for. After announcing in January that it was expanding to Ontario, popular US sub spot Jersey Mike’s Subs is opening its first Toronto location! Here’s what we know.

According to a job posting on Indeed, Jersey Mike’s Toronto location will be at Union Station.

The role is for Restaurant Manager in Training, with the posting stating it is hiring a “Restaurant Manager in Training FOR OUR NEWEST LOCATION IN UNION STATION.”

While the post doesn’t mention an exact opening date, fingers crossed its sooner than later as the listing mentions interviews are happening this week.

Jersey Mike’s announcement in January said it planned to open five locations in Ontario in 2024 to add to its existing locations in Kitchener and London, Ontario.

According to Jersey Mike’s, Ontario is just the start, stating, they have “a development agreement to open 300 Jersey Mike’s restaurants across Canada by 2034.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m going to be patiently (or not so patiently) waiting to enjoy a Jersey Mike’s sub here in Toronto!
