Love checking out the delicious food, unique crafts, and cultural performances at Vancouver’s Japan Market? Well get ready to explore more than ever this spring, because the beloved festival is making a grand return in just a few short weeks.
With over 70 Japanese food and arts vendors to peruse, guests will have plenty to uncover at this year’s Japan Market Summer Festival. This includes live entertainment by TATE Sumarai, who will also be available for free photo opportunities.
As well, the two-day festival will feature a Taiko drumming performance by Nori, a karate demo, and performances by Appare Yosakoi Dance and Okinawa Taiko.

Early bird tickets are on sale now for $4 per adult (or $7 for two) each day the festival runs. Children aged 15 years old and under can enter the festival for free!
Note that the first 50 people to enter on each of the mornings will receive $10 in Japan Market vouchers to spend on some goodies.
The weekend market will take place on June 8th and 9th from 10 am to 6 pm.
