It’s so hot in BC that bears have been taking over backyard pools (VIDEO)

The heat on the west coast has been crazy recently. We’re sure that you’ve seen all sorts of videos, pictures, and more of people getting creative when it comes to cooling down. Turns out humans aren’t the only ones needing a break from the weather. Check out these swimming BC black bears that surprised a Coquitlam family.

Three bears decided to visit Twitter user @MrKush604’s house in Coquitlam for some fun. It’s a very cute sight but also a little nerve-wracking. We wouldn’t want to get too close to bears, especially a mama bear and her cubs. But with this heat, it’s very clear that their only intention is to cool down a bit. We don’t blame them, who wouldn’t want to take a dip in this weather?

Now only one of the cubs was really into the whole swimming thing. Mama and the sibling were a little more hesitant. Who knows, maybe they were scoping things out for a nighttime swim as well. It’s hard to say but we have a feeling this won’t be the last time the bears are seen at this pool.
