Now these are what we call views! Ready for a road trip? This next lookout spot in Ontario is located atop a mountain with rolling countryside, apple orchards and a bay. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? The Irish Mountain lookout is worth the exploration and here’s what to know about it.
It’s a two and a half hours drive north of Toronto. You’ll find Irish Mountain Lookout within Georgian Bay.
According to Visit Grey, from the lookout, you can take in the wonderful sights of the surrounding greenery below.
In the fall, it is a sight to behold. Reds, yellows, oranges transform the skyline, offering a stunning backdrop for your autumn pics.
Rolling countryside filled with apple orchards just add to its allure.
And to top it all off, you can also see the Niagara Escarpment in all its glory. Out on the horizon, you’ll also catch a view of Nottawasaga Bay.
Compared to other lookouts, you won’t need to embark on a long journey to enjoy the views.
Per Visit Grey, there is a parkette nearby, including a washroom area and picnic pavilion on site making it a much more enjoyable experience.
After you capture the stunning view of Georgian Bay, you can take pictures on the famous Meaford Big Red Chair, according to South Georgian Bay.
There are about 10 Big Red Chairs scattered across the municipality. If you’re looking for another outdoor adventure, this seems like a fun feat to conquer.
The fall season has just begun and now is a great time to get your outdoor adventures in gear.
