Along with the job title, the list shows each role’s mean annual salary, how many jobs are available per 1 million, percentage change in job share and the percentage allowing remote work in the role.
According to Indeed, “jobs with remote and hybrid options generate more job seeker interest and are filled faster than those without.” So, to be included in this list the job had to have at least 10% of job listings that contain the word ‘remote’ or ‘hybrid.’
All jobs listed also offer a wage above the Canadian median salary of $63,200. Other factors considered included in the list are opportunity growth and availability of the role based on its share of job postings.
Indeed notes that a current trend is the reduction in tech-related roles from previous years following a massive year of layoffs. This trend forecasts a continued slowdown in hiring for these roles which are generally high-paying and widely desired.
