It’s been around so long, we almost forgot that it’s about to say goodbye! After a few months of wowing visitors, Imagine Monet in Edmonton will be ending its run in the city in early September. Haven’t had the chance to check it out yet? Here’s a quick refresher of what to expect.
The immersive exhibition is again being held at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, and is using the same technology that powered Imagine Van Gogh. It’s one of three cities in Canada to get this exhibition this year, alongside stops in Montreal and Ottawa.

From a technical side, the ‘feeling first’ art impressionist art style lends perfectly to a fully immersive experience, showing brushstrokes and artistic touches that are rarely seen by the public. So, if you’re not planning on a trip to Paris or somewhere to see his works in person, we definitely think this is the next best option.
With the forecast now a little less scorching hot than before, we think a trip here might be a great weekend activity option. Heads up though- things wrap up on September 10th, so plan accordingly!
