It’s pretty well established by now that IKEA is more than just a furniture store. Getting lost in the maze of living room & bedroom displays, pretending you live in one of them for a while, and finding yourself at the Swedish meatball section – it’s all part of the experience. And of course, we can’t forget their annual Swedish holiday feast, which is always a huge hit.
If you’re a fan of Swedish cuisine, you’ll definitely want to add this to your holiday itinerary. On Thursday, December 15th from 5 to 8 pm, Canadians can head to their local IKEA restaurant for “Julbord” – a “traditional Swedish holiday smörgÃ¥sbord” with ham, meatballs, marinated salmon, potatoes, eggs, crispbread, cheese, and more. Basically, take everything you know and love about IKEA food and make it festive.
