It’s pretty well established by now that IKEA is more than just a furniture store. Getting lost in the maze of living room & bedroom displays, pretending you live in one of them for a while, and finding yourself at the Swedish meatball section – it’s all part of the experience. And of course, we can’t forget their annual Swedish holiday feast, which is always a huge hit.
If you’re a fan of Swedish cuisine, you’ll definitely want to add this to your holiday itinerary. On Thursday, December 15th from 5 to 8 pm, Canadians can head to their local IKEA restaurant for “Julbord” – a “traditional Swedish holiday smörgåsbord” with ham, meatballs, marinated salmon, potatoes, eggs, crispbread, cheese, and more. Basically, take everything you know and love about IKEA food and make it festive.
Now, let’s talk prices. The IKEA Family price for each ticket is $19.99, the Regular price is $24.99, and kids 12 and under can feast for $9.99.
Tickets are available in-store at participating locations across the country from now until December 15th, or until supplies last. Note that each ticket is valid for one guest at the date and location specified on the ticket.
To purchase a ticket, simply head to the cash desk in the IKEA Swedish Restaurant or Swedish Food Market at your local IKEA.
Snag those spots & enjoy the feast, everyone!
