IKEA is having Swedish holiday feasts & Santa breakfasts across Canada

IKEA is more than just a furniture store – at least that’s the case for those who enjoy a good old food hall adventure. The Swedish chain has some delectable dishes up its sleeves and the same can be said for its annual Swedish holiday feast, which never disappoints.

If you’re a fan of Swedish cuisine, you’ll definitely want to add these to your holiday itinerary. There will be two holiday foodie experiences at IKEA this December, starting off with Breakfast with Santa on December 9th from 10 AM to 11 AM.

This ticketed event will include a classic breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, Swedish pancakes, and breakfast pastries.

Expect some activities, prizes, photo opportunities, and tantalizing eats.

And on December 14th from 5 PM to 8 PM, Canadians can head to their local IKEA restaurant for the annual “Julbord” – a “traditional Swedish holiday smörgåsbord” with Christmas ham, meatballs, salmon, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables, seasonal sweets and more.

Basically, take everything you know and love about IKEA food and make it festive.

Now, let’s talk prices. The IKEA Family price for the breakfast is $9.99 each for adults, and child tickets are $4.99 each. As for the Julboard. The IKEA Family members adult tickets are $24.99 each, and child tickets are $14.99 each.

Tickets are available in-store at participating locations across the country until supplies last. Note that each ticket is valid for one guest at the date and location specified on the ticket.

To purchase a ticket, simply head to the cash desk in the IKEA Swedish Restaurant or Swedish Food Market at your local IKEA.

It’s important to note that IKEA Food experiences for the Holidays will not be hosted at IKEA Scarborough Town Centre or IKEA Toronto Downtown.

So make sure to snag those spots & enjoy the feast, everyone!
