IKEA Canada is opening two new Plan and Order Points in Ontario and Quebec next month, expanding its outreach in Canada.

In an exciting development, IKEA Canada plans to open its Plan and Order Points in London, Ontario, and Lachenaie, Quebec, this March.

According to the Swedish chain, these Plan and Order Points will provide knowledgeable assistance to customers in planning, ordering, and purchasing complex home furnishings for the kitchen, bedroom, bath, and living room.

The Ontario location will be at 3120 Wonderland Road South, within the Wonderland Power Centre, and will open its doors to customers on March 6th.

As for Quebec, it’ll open at 552 Montée des Pionniers in the Galeries de Lanaudière shopping centre, welcoming customers on March 20th.

“Our recent IKEA Life at Home report has shown that up to 50 per cent of Canadians are looking to either move or renovate their homes in the next two years, and we want to support them by providing affordable and inspiring home furnishing solutions that meet the evolving needs of their homes,” said Inna Romagnoli, Country Business Development and Transformation Manager at IKEA Canada.

For those who have yet to experience one of these locations, here’s the rundown.

Plan and Order Points offer walk-in and appointment-based planning services where customers can consult with IKEA experts to plan complex purchases, like kitchen or bedroom storage projects.

While products are not immediately available for takeaway, customers can explore a curated selection of IKEA solutions to meet their home furnishing needs.

Once orders are placed, they can be conveniently delivered directly to their homes or a local IKEA Pick-up point.

And in addition to the two new locations, IKEA is planning to open another Plan and Order Point in Barrie, at the SmartCentres Barrie South shopping centre in the summer of 2024.

With this, the Plan and Order Point network will expand to a total of eight locations across Canada.
