There’s no vantage point quite like one that overlooks a skyline, but which city in Canada has the most iconic view? From coast to coast, there are some pretty recognizable buildings, rivers and lakes – but some are more popular than others!

This week, printer supply company TonerGiant, published a study that ranked Canada’s top skylines based on the average number of Insta-likes a photo gets when posted to an account with 150+ followers.

By searching for and comparing photos with the hashtag [city name] + [skyline] they were able to determine that Toronto is the country’s favourite – at 160 ALPP (average likes per picture.)

This, of course, is no surprise as the city’s CN Tower has been featured everywhere from Drake’s Views from the 6 album cover to movies, TV shows postcards and apparel.

Next, was actually Edmonton who – with 67 ALPP – actually beat out Calgary and Montreal, who both tied at 54 and Winnipeg who had an average of 47 likes per post.

Now, depending on your bias some may call this surprising – so we’re passing this off to you folks!
