If you’re looking for a fun winter experience, sharpen those ice skates. There’s a wonderful ice skating trail in Ontario that winds past almost 100 acres of natural woods, illuminated by twinkling string lights. Icelynd Skating Trails opens next month and here’s what to know.

Located in Stittsville, Ontario – just minutes away from Ottawa are the Icelynd Skating Trails.

You can enjoy two kilometres of natural ice trails in the evenings, under the stars. This magical experience will be open in the evenings and be illuminated by string lights, and natural solar lighting.

According to organizers, there will be bonfires, vendors, benches, and chairs to rest after your skating adventure.

The skating trail will be open Thursdays from 4 PM to 9 PM, Fridays from 2 PM to 9 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sundays from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Individual tickets are priced at $12 while family passes for two adults and two children are priced at $55.

If you would like to enjoy a secluded fire pit for your group, one hour rentals are available for an additional $65.

Icelynd Skating Trails will open on January 13th but bookings are live now.
