If you’re like us, you’re always on the hunt for the most unique holiday experiences every year. And a huge part of that is ice skating. Luckily, Vancouver has plenty of options when it comes to rinks – both indoors and outdoors. But the mountaintop ice skating pond at Grouse holds a special place in our hearts.

Returning this year to Grouse Mountain is their annual Peak of Christmas experience, which transforms the top of the mountain into an enchanting winter wonderland. Guests can glide across their 8,000 square-foot Mountaintop Skating Pond hand-in-hand, take pictures with Santa at his workshop, and go on a magical Light Walk.

Who knows, maybe you’ll even get to hang out with some of Santa’s reindeer!

If you really want to enjoy this experience in all its glory, then you can also reserve a spot at a Breakfast with Santa buffet. Fill up on some pancakes, meet jolly old Saint Nick, and then walk (or skate) amongst the snow-topped trees. Whether you’re going with family or that special someone, this is undoubtedly one of the best holiday experiences around Vancouver.
