It’s almost time to get into the Halloween spirit here in Toronto, and if you’re not too keen to get chased by monsters but still want to do something fun and festive, you won’t want to miss this. Back by popular demand, Nights of Lights is an immersive Halloween experience that promises to be even bigger and better than last year.

You’ll get to drive through 2.2 kms of glowing laneways featuring over 1.5 million LED and RGB lights synchronized to your favourite spooky tunes.

It’s put on by the same organizers of the Holiday Nights of Lights that happens every December, so you know it’ll be worth the trip.

There’s a new adventure to try at this year’s event called Trick or Treat Lane, and it’s pretty damn sweet. You’ll make your way through a glowing “neighbourhood” filled with lights while costumed actors hand out candy from a safe distance. If you’re nostalgic for trick-or-treating in your coolest costume on Halloween night, this part will definitely be a highlight.

Tickets are now on sale for the event, which takes place at Richmond Hill GO Station starting on October 1st. If last year’s sold-out event tells us anything, it’s that you don’t want to wait too long to snag a spot.

Get ready to crank your radio and roll down your windows for a spook-tacular night. And if you’re feeling brave enough, you can make your way to Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland, which is just a short drive away.
