A historic store on Banff Avenue is up for sale & here’s what we know

Sitting on a small fortune? The historic Hudson’s Bay store located along Banff Avenue is currently for sale but you’ve only got a few days to throw your hat into the ring.

Described as a “tremendously rare opportunity,” the 12,398-square-foot store was listed by commercial real estate firm Avison Young and while they were unable to comment, it’s reported that bidding will close this Wednesday.

Surrounded by mountains, hiking trails and several other well-known retailers, this store is visited regularly by people from all over the world and offers a once-in-a-blue-moon chance to establish an incredibly strong presence in one of Canada’s most iconic tourist destinations.

Interested in setting up shop? As we mentioned, the space – which has been occupied by the brand since 1947 – will sell on June 7th at 1:30 pm MDT.
