It’s back winter warriors! The city’s warmest event will return in 2024 and it’s going to be sweeter than ever!

This February, city slickers will be encouraged to check out the YYC Hot Chocolate Festival, a Calgary favourite that brings a month of inventive sips to participating eateries all over the city.

From Cafes and convenience stores to bars and bakeries, industry professionals have been challenged to create something truly unique using milk (and milk alternatives), chocolate (and chocolate alternatives), whipped toppings, unusual flavours and wild mixins.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to sip and savour as many drinks as possible, then vote for the ones you like best.

The coolest part?

A portion of the profits made during this particular festival will go towards Meals on Wheels – a buy one, give one organization that supports local families and children in need.

If you’re among the many interested in checking it out, get excited because it’ll only be a matter of time until they announce this year’s contestants.
