Participating countries revealed for this year’s Honda Celebration of Light in Vancouver

Great news, Vancouver! If you’re curious to learn which teams will be lighting up the night sky at this year’s Honda Celebration of Lights, tune in, because organizers have officially released the participating countries!

Drawing thousands of local and international visitors every year, the Celebration of Light always delivers when it comes to hosting striking visual performances.

During last year’s festival, Team Philippines was dubbed the winner of the international competition for their vibrant choreographed performance.

2024 participating countries

This year, Team Macedos Pirotecnia of Portugal will kick things off on July 20th, with 89 years of history and technique under its belt.

Next up will be Team Pyro Tact from Malaysia on July 24th, which transformed from a group of young part-time workers to pyrotechnic pros who have since taken over major celebrations and firework competitions across Asia.

This year’s festival will cap off with a grand finale on July 27th by the UK’s Pyrtotex Fireworx, who are known around the globe for their originality and emotive performances.

So there you have it, Vancouver. Which countries are you most excited to see host this year’s Celebration of Light?!
