Support local healthcare and get the chance to win big with BC’s Hometown Heroes Lottery

B.C.’s front-line workers are the backbone of every small town in the province. As they step up to meet the demand in their neighbourhoods, it’s more important than ever to support these often unsung heroes who keep us safe when it matters.

The Hometown Heroes Lottery gives you a chance to thank them by supporting VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation and the B.C. Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.

As one of B.C.’s most affordable (and exciting) home lotteries, tickets start at three for just $75 and come with some incredible prizes for winners — including a $2.2 million cash Grand Prize!

How it works

The lottery has multiple ways to play, including extra games to win more cash with the 50/50 PLUS, and the Daily Cash PLUS.

This year’s 50/50 PLUS jackpot can reach up to $2.6 million — and the winner takes half.

Pro tip: You’ll want to get your tickets early, because there are a series of early draws worth a total of $345,000! Win cars, cash, travel, and more in the early draws.

What’s on the line?

There are 10 Grand Prize packages available valued up to or over $2.6 million — featuring homes in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, the Okanagan, Vancouver Island, and more.

Prize packages also include extra prizes like vehicles, home furnishing, travel gift cards, and select memberships to exclusive clubs.

There’s also the option to just secure yourself a straight $2.2 million in tax-free cash.

Supporting local heroes

From rescue to recovery, B.C.’s first responders are always on call when we need them most. Buying a ticket to the Hometown Heroes Lottery doesn’t just give you a chance to win, it’s also a win for your community.

Ticket proceeds from this lottery go directly to support the purchase of cutting-edge medical equipment at VGH, UBC Hospital, and GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre to strengthen the life-saving care they provide.

Funds also directly support the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, which provides fire fighters with accommodations at Home Away while they receive treatment in Vancouver. Through these burn survivor support programs, fire fighters are given the space to recovery, camaraderie, and hope.

So, if you’re ready to make a difference and win big, head to the Hometown Heroes Lottery website and grab the hottest ticket in town.
