The wait is officially over. Hollister has opened its doors at CF Chinook Centre, bringing the popular clothing brand back to Calgary after a few years away.

The opening comes shortly after Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister’s sister brand, also returned to the mall in July 2026, so you can now shop both stores in person.

What to expect at the new Hollister location

Inside Calgary’s new Hollister store

According to a recent Instagram post by CF Chinook Centre, the store officially opened on Oct. 9, and if it feels like you’ve seen it all before, you’re not imagining things.

Hollister previously had a location at CF Chinook Centre, but it closed its doors in 2023 as the brand shifted its focus to online shopping. Now, the retailer is back with a new space that feels a little different from the stores you might remember. The interior is brighter, and it no longer has that strong perfume smell or the dark lighting that Hollister was once known for.

Where is CF Chinook Centre?

CF Chinook Centre is located on Macleod Trail in southwest Calgary and is easily accessible by car. If you’re taking public transit, the Chinook CTrain Station is attached to the mall, so you can get off the train and head straight inside.

Hollister is on Level 2 of the mall, right beside the Lego store and directly above Abercrombie & Fitch.

What are Hollister’s hours at CF Chinook Centre?

If you’re planning to stop by, the store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
