One thing we absolutely love about Calgary is the community. People are friendly, Calgarians look out for each other, and it seems like every corner of Calgary has its own hidden gem.
In case you haven’t heard about the community of Legacy, a hidden gem down in south Calgary, then let us uncover it for you. Oh, we’ll also let you in on a couple of not-so-secret contests that Legacy is running where you can win awesome prizes. Let’s go!
Legacy takes everything you love about Calgary and puts it into one picturesque community. From state-of-the-art playgrounds and family-friendly activities to pathways, ponds, and a 300-acre environmental reserve, there is no shortage of exploring and adventure.
The community is new but already has plenty of personality. Take one look at the public art, the broken arches architecture, and the various statues, and you’ll see exactly what we mean. Not only that but Legacy plays host to over 800,000 square feet of restaurants, retail stores, and offices. This community is truly a city within the city.
With all of that in mind, it’s obvious that Calgary has fallen in love with the community. The gorgeous homes, facilities, and amenities have led to Legacy quickly becoming one of the best places to live, work, and play in Calgary. We know it’s not a contest, but if it were, Legacy would be near the top.
Speaking of contests, there are three unique contests that you can enter in order to win some pretty incredible stuff. Here are all the glorious details of the ‘I Love Legacy’ campaign:
- Love Lock Heart – inspired by Paris’ famous love lock bridge, this contest encourages people to write what they love about Legacy along with placing their social media handles on heart-shaped tags. These will be attached to one of the ‘love lock heart’ installations Legacy will be putting up. Winners will get a $500 WestJet gift card. Not too shabby.
- Follow Legacy on Instagram and Facebook in order to learn about 4 separate prize packs. These are made up of plenty of goodies from local Legacy businesses and each of them is valued as high as $200. Make sure to follow all the rules of the posts!
- Visit the ‘I Love Legacy’ site and write a little note about what you love about the Legacy community. Sounds easy, right? Well, the winner gets a $500 WestJet gift card, so make sure you release your inner Shakespeare.
