After much anticipation, casting calls and buzz, it’s here! Calgary-born duo Tegan and Sara have released the first trailer for their upcoming series, Highschool – and you’ll almost definitely recognize some of the filming locations.
Starring Seazynn and Railey Gilliland as well as Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) and Kyle Bornheimer (Marriage Story, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), the highly anticipated Amazon original is set to premiere on Freevee, a new ad-driven streaming platform, later this year.
Based on their best-selling memoir of the same name, Highschool will detail life before the award shows and tours – when the pair just started making music, learning to get along and understanding who they were as individuals.

As expected, the trailer shows the hallways and gym of Crescent Heights, the school that they attended in the 90s, as well as the iconic city skyline – which honestly gave us the chills… It looks very cold.
Luckily, for those who can’t wait to watch it at length, it won’t be long until we can catch it on our small screens for FREE without a subscription.
As confirmed on Instagram, the show will debut on October 14th, 2022 – and you better believe we’ll be watching.
