There’s nothing like hockey to bring a group of people together and in our opinion – the best games are often played where the ice meets the sky. Every few years, The Heritage Classic is held in celebration of fresh air and fun – and in 2023, it returns to Edmonton!
As confirmed over the weekend, another installment of the Heritage Classic will take place next year and the NHL means business – pitting the Oilers against the Calgary Flames in a battle of Alberta.
Hosted at Commonwealth Stadium, where the Montreal Canadiens played Edmonton’s home team in 2003, fans will be encouraged to bundle up and head out for an epic game of grit and big-city pride.
