Here’s what to know about the PNE Fair kicking off this weekend

The PNE. Now that’s a place that is dedicated to fun, a good time, and play. And that’s really the case this weekend. The PNE Fair is coming back this weekend and there is a ton that you do not want to miss.

The PNE is hosting its 111th annual Fair from August 21 to September 9 and we are stoked for it. First of all, 111 is a very cool age and number, so points to that. Also, the Fair is chock-full of stuff we want to see.

There is going to be amazing food, ranging from classics like mini donuts and corn dogs to poutine varieties you can only dream of. And some cool events to watch like the lumberjack games and SuperDogs dog agility competitions, and you’re cruising. Who said there’s no such thing as a perfect outing?

Vancouver’s infamous corpse flower is now blooming!

New this year, are a Metro Vancouver-themed showcase, Translink’s Reconnect exhibit, and the Comedy Corner. Plus, a bit of history will be on display as well. Nine panels of the famous “Challenger Map” of years gone by will be on display, showing off on a massive scale, the beauty of BC. But, we’d be lying if we said we’re going there for anything except fun food and the SuperDogs show.

The event will, of course, have a limited capacity and other safety rules to make sure everyone has the best time possible at the event.

We’ll see you there!
