Here’s how people reacted to this morning’s massive global internet outage

The world was ~shook~ this morning as a massive outage swept a number of major news outlets and social media platforms off the map. The hour-long global hiccup was reportedly caused by issues with the San Fransisco-based cloud computing company Fastly Inc.

Some of the websites that were impacted around the world include Amazon, Reddit, Spotify, Twitch, Stack Overflow, Hulu, HBO Max, Quora, PayPal, Vimeo, and Shopify. Plus, many prominent news outlets including CNN, The Guardian, The New York Times, and the BBC. Even major government home pages reportedly went dark!
