We scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream… and cake, cookies, pies, and jello. Though many may say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we believe it’s actually dessert that rocks the top spot. Why? Well, eggs can’t put a smile on your face quite like a milkshake can. Here are some of the most outrageous desserts you can get in Calgary!

CANELO’S ICE CREAM

Tacos and ice cream. Could it get any better than that? The answer is yes, apparently, it can. Not to be dramatic, but Calgary’s newest Mexican street food joint, Canelo’s, has created dessert hybrids so uniquely tasty you may not look at food the same way – ever again.

From pints of the good stuff to floats and warm pastries, these guys are kind of experts in everyday craving satisfaction, but it’s their cakes that stand out as the star of their menu.
