This sunny season just keeps getting hotter. Since announcing the Open For Summer Lottery on June 14th, the government has added several more incentives for Albertans to get vaccinated and it seems to be working. After all the best way to get anyone to do anything is by offering them money or free things, right?

It all started with a costly nudge of three $1 million prizes – but they didn’t stop there!

In the last two weeks, they’ve included various additional gifts – so we figured that this was a good time to do a rundown of everything up for grabs withdraw dates for those who have entered.

Here is everything being offered as part of Alberta’s Open For Summer Lottery as of June 25th: 

GRAND PRIZES – DATES VARY

  • A first prize of $1,000,000.00 – July 1st
  • A second prize of $1,000,000.00 – August 31 (must be fully vaccinated to be eligible)
  • A final prize of $1,000,000.00 – September 30 (must be fully vaccinated to be eligible)

STAMPEDE PACKAGES – JULY 1ST

  • Admission for 2 adults and 2 children plus 2 ride and play passes (50 winners)
  • Admission for 2 adults and 2 children (150 winners)
  • Admission and 2 tickets to an afternoon rodeo (25 winners)
  • Admission and 2 tickets to an evening performances (25 winners)
  • Admission and 2 Nashville North Buck the Line passes (10 winners)
  • 4 admission passes (125 winners)
  • 2 admission passes (250 winners)

TRAVEL PACKAGES

WESTJET – AUGUST 31ST (must be fully vaccinated to be eligible)

  • 1 WestJet Vacation Package for 2 to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort including round trip economy flights and a 7-night all-inclusive stay.
  • 1 voucher for 2 people to fly round trip, business class, anywhere in WestJet’s network.

AIR CANADA – AUGUST 31ST (must be fully vaccinated to be eligible)

  • 3 giveaways of 100,000 Aeroplan bonus points.
  • 5 giveaways of Aeroplan 50K Status.

Of course, in order to be eligible to win any of these prizes you need to get vaccinated first, folks – so get it yourself jabbed!

In addition to this, all participants must be 18 years or older, possess proof that they’ve been immunized with an approved vaccine and have actually entered to win (which you can do here.)
