We’re starting things off with our favourite place for a fall stroll. Queen Elizabeth Park is the perfect inner-city oasis and has a ton of fun plants and trees to check out. Just make sure you sneak a peek of the city skyline in before you head back home!

Jericho Beach Park

Jericho is a highly underrated area of Vancouver to hang out in. We like to start at Jericho then walk out and back to Spanish Banks, but you can do it either way! What’s guaranteed is a great beachside stroll, just make sure you bring a windbreaker!

Stanley Park

Of course, Stanley Park is one of the most popular parks in Canada for a reason. It’s proximity to the downtown core, paired with some fantastic trails and ocean views, makes it an easy pick for anyone looking to get the full Vancouver experience in one afternoon.

Nitobe Memorial Garden

These last two picks technically aren’t in Vancouver, but they’re close enough to get the nod. This authentic Japanese garden at UBC saw one of the most straightforward compliments of all time when Emperor Akihito simply said “I am in Japan” while walking through it.
